What we collect

The questionnaire asks for approximate financial information: a comfortable monthly payment, approximate household income, approximate recurring monthly debt payments, an approximate amount you have available toward buying, an approximate credit range, and what and where you want to buy. It also asks a few optional questions used only to look for homebuyer programs.

Everything you enter is approximate and self-reported. We do not verify any of it.

What we never ask for

We do not ask for your Social Security number, date of birth, bank login details, or account numbers, and we never pull your credit report. If a page ever asks you for any of those while claiming to be us, it is not us.

Why we collect it

Solely to produce your homeownership plan. The estimates you see are generated from the information you supply, using published assumptions. Nothing is generated about you from outside sources.

When it becomes connected to you

You can see your full plan without giving us your name, email address or phone number. Your answers are not attached to your identity unless you choose to contact us.

If you ask us to email you your plan, talk with Ron, connect with a lender, or get an insurance estimate, we collect your name and email at that point, plus a phone number where the request needs one. A phone number is never required simply to be emailed your plan.

When you make one of those requests we store it alongside a summary of the plan you were looking at: your estimated price range, your monthly estimate, the cash figure, the programs we surfaced, and the assumptions behind them. That is so whoever helps you is looking at the same figures you saw.

What we send, and to whom

Two kinds of email, both tied to something you asked for. If you request your plan, we email it to you. Whenever you make any of these requests, we send a notification to Ron Haibi so he can follow up.

That internal notification to Ron may reach him by email or by text message. It is how we alert him to your request; it is not a message to you. We only text you if you separately ask us to by ticking the text-message box, and that choice is recorded with your request.

We do not send marketing email on the strength of these requests, and we do not add you to a list you did not ask for.

When we share it

If you ask to be connected to a lender or an insurance professional, your request goes to Ron, who arranges the introduction. We do not pass your details to any lender or insurance company automatically. We do not sell your information, and we do not hand it to anyone you have not asked to be connected to, other than the services below that run the site for us.

Services that help us run the site

A few service providers handle information for us, only to provide their service:

Vercel hosts this website. Like any website host, it receives the connection information your browser sends, including your IP address, in order to deliver pages and protect the site.

Neon stores our database: saved plans, the requests you make, analytics counts and the request records described below.

Resend delivers the emails we send: your plan, if you ask for it, and the notification to Ron.

Twilio delivers text-message alerts to Ron, when those alerts are turned on.

The property-search links take you to RonHaibi.com, a separate website with its own privacy practices.

Consent

Consent boxes are never pre-ticked, and each one covers only the request you are making. We do not bundle unrelated marketing permission into them. If you tick the box allowing text messages, that applies to that request and you can stop at any time by replying STOP.

You do not have to agree to calls or texts in order to use this site, see your plan, or work with us on buying a home.

How it is handled

Your answers are saved in this browser on this device for up to 30 days after your last change, so you can come back to your plan. Some browsers, including Safari, may clear saved information sooner. Choose “Start over” to delete your answers at any time. We never put your financial answers or contact details in a web address.

We also save a small label in this browser saying whether you arrived through one of our test links, so we can count people testing the site separately from everyone else. It contains nothing about you or your finances, and starting over does not remove it.

Once you reach your plan, it is also saved on our side under a random identifier, together with the answers and assumptions used to produce it, including the information used for your planning check. This helps us keep the figures understandable if you ask us about your plan. That copy is not used to bring your plan back on another device or browser.

Our analytics record which steps people reach and which price range they searched, so we can see where the tool is confusing. They never include your income, debts, savings, credit range, comfortable payment, name, email or phone number.

To protect the site from automated abuse, each time your browser saves a plan, records a step for our analytics or sends a request, we keep a short record of the kind of action, the time and your IP address. We use it only to limit how often requests can be made. It is stored separately, without your answers, your plan or your contact details.

How long we keep it

Answers saved in your browser: up to 30 days after your last change, as described above.

On our side, we have not yet set an automatic deletion period. Saved plans, requests, analytics and the request records with IP addresses are kept until they are deleted, including when you ask us to delete them.

Emails we send also remain with our email provider and in the mailboxes they were sent to, under those services’ own retention.

Getting it removed, and questions

Email Bridgestone Realty LLC at ron@bridgestonere.com and ask us to delete your plan and contact details, and we will.
